Comics are brilliant. They are also an overlooked and under-appreciated part of the literary establishment, so we're looking to redress the balance a little. This group will work pretty much like a traditional book club - we pick a new graphic novel or collection every month, read it and meet up for a discussion over coffee or a beer. This is group of comic book lovers who want to get together and talk about comics. There will be monthly get togethers that will range from going to local conventions to just having dinner and getting to know members.

Let's get together and express ourselves, entertain each other, and find inspiration through illustration and comics of our own creation. If you don't have any experience with illustration yourself, easy instruction can be given!
